Welcome to the The Kensington Crêperie, nestled in the bustling heart of South Kensington.
We have been well established as one of London’s finest French Crêperie cafés since 2001.
Our Grade 2 listed building was once a dairy in the 1800s and you can see the carefully restored original tiles on our walls, dating from this period. The beautiful pictures on our walls are limited editions by the well-known photographic artist, Shimon Mizrahy. Our continental furniture, traditional tiles and outdoor
seating give the Crêperie a very Parisian feel.
We are situated only two minutes from South Kensington Tube, close to some of London’s best-known attractions such as the Victoria & Albert Museum, Harrods, the Natural History Museum and the Royal Albert Hall and we have many regulars who drop in for a quick meal on their way to a play, movie or concert, or for a more leisurely supper afterwards. When we are busy, we often extend our hours, and stay open till midnight. The theatregoers and ‘promenaders’ from the Royal Albert Hall, appreciate our flexible hours when they can enjoy a late supper on their way home. During the day the Crêperie is usually busy from lunchtime to late afternoon, in the evening the atmosphere changes; the lights are dimmed and the candles are lit, and relaxing music is played.

As well as our table service, you can also enjoy our crêpes as a take away option
for those who are short of time. We have now opened our new sister restaurant, The Marylebone Crêperie, at 71a Marylebone Lane, London W1 U2PJ (tel: 020 79 35 29 93), which is just a 7 minute walk from BOND STREET TUBE in Oxford Street. Here you will find all the same delicious crêpes and fresh salads as featured in our Kensington branch.
We have a large selection of sweet and savoury crêpes, freshly made to order, with all the old favourites, such as Crêpe Suzette or Banana with Belgian chocolate, or Crêpe Complete (ham, egg, and cheese), or the more adventurous Chicken Tandoori, (ratatouille, cheese, and chicken with tandoori spices).

On our specials board you will often find our wonderful Seafood Crêpe (Prawns, mussels, calamari, cheddar cheese, white wine, tomato sauce), or Portuguese Crêpe (salted cod fish, garlic, potatoes, olive oil, onion, white wine).
Our freshly prepared salad selections can be served as a main course or as an accompaniment to our crêpes, and they are delicious dressed with our own recipe French dressings..
We are a popular meeting-place for Londoners and tourists alike, and we love to welcome our visitors from abroad, who come back time and time again to see us when they return to London and they tell us we make the best crêpes in the world!
